Project Overview
Kando is a mobile admin panel and dashboard for a network security product. User can easily view the device logs, reports and diagrams using the app.
Kando also provides an admin panel that can be used to set up the network device and change the configuration.
Kando has a minimal and simple design and it's created for technical operators of the network security device.
My Role
I designed User Experience and User Interface of this project, and performed the following tasks:
  • Ideation and User Research
  • Sketching and Wireframing
  • Prototyping with Sketch app
  • Usability Testing

Design Process

I used a 5-stage Design Thinking model proposed by the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (the "d. school"). The stages of this Design Thinking process are as follows:
1. Empathise, 2. Define, 3. Ideate, 4. Prototype, 5. Test.
